Configuring Security Policy

Before you can monitor a file server you have to install an Agent on it, which is explained in Installation Agent. The agent uses the Windows auditing features, the next paragraphs describe how to configure this. This chapter is for Windows server XP and Windows 2003.

start -> administrative tools -> Local security policy

Expand Local Policies and click on Audit policy

Double click on Audit Object Access and mark both success and failure
