Notification Setting

The notification template is a template for receiving notifications, during which time zones and how (mail or SMS)

Only in the Super User Menu you can change a Notification Template, every where you specify which notification template is used in the monitoring. If a notification Template is changed, will this have effect on all the items that use this Notification Template. So if there is are files on system "file server" and this files uses the notification template named "24for7".  When the disk has a notification (like file is deleted) you will recieve notifications set by the current 24for7 Template.

In the Normal User Menu it is only possible to view the Notification Templates.

•Specify at what escalation level (alarm, warning or OK)  you wish to receive an email and /or SMS.

•Indicate in every time zone whether to receive an email and /or SMS.

There is also a Save As option. To copy a template, click on edit that template, give it another Notification Template Name and check the Save As box.
